All about Cuban Tourist Cards
|

Below is a sample of a Cuban Tourist Card (sometimes referred to as a Cuban Visitors Visa).
Travelers require this card to enter Cuba, together with a current passport. These are the only two documents tourists need.
If you are flying with a Canadian carrier, your Cuban Tourist Card is included in the cost of your air ticket. Your air steward will give you your Cuban Tourist Card on flight. It is not distributed prior.
If you are flying on Mexicana, Cubana or any other carrier you'll have to purchase a Cuban Tourist Card from them prior to departure to Cuba. They are available at your airline check-in counter. The cost is generally between $20.00 and $30.00
Cuban Tourist Cards can also be purchased from the Cuban Embassy and Consulates in Canada, but the process is time consuming. Click here for contact information.
All questions regarding Cuban Tourist Cards should be directed first to your travel agent, and second to your airline.
Cuba Education Tours is not able to supply Cuban Tourist Cards.
When filling out your Cuban Tourist Card, take care not to make mistakes. If you do make a mistake, neatly cross it out and enter the correct information next to the appropriate category. Do not attempt to erase or "white out" the error.
If your card is damaged or has too many mistakes it may have to be replaced at a cost to you of between $20.00 and $30.00 prior to departure or upon arrival in Cuba. |
